How will play improvements and investment be prioritised
The strategy provides a system to deliver recommended play area improvements by using the four Locality Play Improvement Frameworks.
Thee Frameworks provide detailed evidence that can be used by all partners. The Frameworks list all designated play areas and youth facilities within the locality. This includes an assessment of their current condition and quality; and their potential for improvement. The frameworks also provide guidance to help make priority choices in relation to potential improvement works.
The Strategy also highlights that consultation and engagement with children, young people, their families and the wider community is essential in the planning and delivery of play and youth facility improvement projects.
