0-5 years Healthy Child Programme - Health Visiting
Health Visitors are Specialist Public Health Practitioners who have expertise in child development and family health. All children under five years of age have a Health Visitor.
Family Nurse Partnership
Family Nurses are specialist Health Visitors who have expertise in child development and family health for first time mothers aged under 19 years.
Early Years Workers
Early Years Workers provide support around education, child development and parenting.
Bookstart
This service is delivered by Library Services and the Starting Well Service will be a key partner to facilitating and promoting early literacy. Cheshire Bookstart offers a bespoke service to deliver free universal baby book packs and preschool book packs to all children as well as other targeted resources such as dual language books and sensory packs. We work with Health Visitors, nurseries, Children’s Centres, libraries, charities, community groups and many more to support events, projects, promotion and development.
