Northwich regeneration

Northwich is an exciting and vibrant place to live, work, play and visit with a set of ambitious projects and developments planned as part of the Council’s vision for the town. Regenerating areas of the town centre to unlock economic opportunities, renovating much-loved traditional town landmarks and architecture, developing leisure facilities, and improving road links and accessibility are all vital parts of the future for Northwich. The Council’s overall vision for the town is detailed in the Northwich Development Framework.

With the Council already committing funding for Northwich, there is a strong commitment to the town’s future.

We remain committed to securing external funding and delivering the multi-million-pound Winnington Bridge project, recognising the need to improve key road links to the town centre and new housing developments.

There is also a commitment to funding for projects like Northwich Library, Northwich Market, Moss Farm and for events such as NOW Northwich, building on the town’s reputation as a growing cultural centre.
