Plaque on existing bench
All applications for plaques should be completed on the official request form. This ensures that all applicants are aware of the policy and have read and understood the terms and conditions.
Costs for memorial plaques are dependent on type and size ranging from £50 - £300, we will advise on the appropriate size of plaque
You will need to purchase the plaque – proposed wording to be shared and agreed by us.
A plaque (purchased by you) to be placed on one of our existing benches costs £151.33.

Terms and conditions
Plaques may be installed on our existing owned benches. The location and availability of these benches will be at the discretion of us. If a location at a requested site cannot be accommodated, we may provide you with an alternative site/location if available, or you may go on a waiting list.
We will try to ensure your plaque is placed on an individual bench in sound condition, but cannot guarantee this will remain the only plaque on your chosen bench. (up to a max of 10 plaques).
All plaques will be fitted by us or an appointed contractor. Size and specification of the plaque will be our decision and will be appropriate to the nature of the chosen site.
You will need to purchase the plaque following agreement with us on final specification and wording.
We will not be responsible for maintenance or any replacement liability if the plaque is stolen or damaged.
Should you choose to adopt an existing bench to place your memorial plaque, we cannot guarantee the lifetime of the bench.
We reserve the right to remove any bench surveyed by appointed inspectors that have been damaged beyond economical repair or deemed unsafe. Should the bench be removed for any reason, you will have the option to pay for a new bench and fitting.
