Public rights of way
Rights of way improvement plan
The Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) covers all kinds of different types of access, for example public rights of way, permissive routes, cycle tracks, parks and greenspace paths.
Within the borough, the term ‘access network’ is used to cover all of these types of access.
We have completed an Open Space Audit and Assessment of Need Household survey as well as consulting with town and parish councils, recreational organisations and the public at large regarding the Cheshire West and Chester ROWIP 2011-2016.
The results of all of these have been analysed to produce a five year delivery plan.
