Helping businesses thrive
Amanda Lund, who co-owns Tots Tower based in the Clock Tower, has high hopes for the future of Winsford town centre.
Amanda said: "I am hoping this is a good thing because Cheshire West and Chester Council should be able to see what we need as a town and go forward with plans to make it better. The Council has a base in Wyvern House so hopefully they know what is happening around here and will see the need for more locally run shops and help them become established.
"My hope is that the regeneration improvements will help small businesses to grow and thrive.
"I'm hoping that more people will come in to town. The more attractive the town becomes then the more customers we will all attract.
"They were talking about a plan to have a marketing section for the town centre where they will help us push our businesses out there. Having someone else supporting us will help us all out."
Management changes
Amanda is also happy to see changes to the management of Winsford Cross and an effective relationship develop between Cheshire West and Chester Council, the management company, JLL, and traders.
She added: "Personally speaking, the changes the Council has made since taking over and having a new company running our tenancy has completely changed things. The changes have helped us to establish our business and helped us to focus on health and safety."
Tots Tower is bustling with energy and its owners are thankful for the support of customers who bring their under-fives to stay and play.
Amanda said: "It has been going really well, we are busy. We have not advertised that much and mainly use Facebook. We have great customers and have established great relationships with the parents."
