Learning Disability Partnership Board

The Learning Disabilities Partnership Board reports to the Cheshire West and Chester Health and Wellbeing Board.

It helps the Health and Wellbeing Board understand the needs of people with learning disabilities.

Partnership Board members work to make life better for people with a learning disability, their Carers, families and supporters.

How to get involved

Anyone who wants to help can ask to join the Partnership Board. Members are asked to attend all of the meetings. Members must make sure they speak at the meetings in a way that is easy for everyone to understand. For example, no jargon or difficult words. And any presentations or information given must be in easy read or a very simple document. Guidelines are available to help.

If you’d like more information about the Partnership Board, to express your interest in becoming a member or to get a copy of a list of difficult words that have been used during meetings and what they mean, please email: Sinead.Jones@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
