Visitor Economy

In 2022, a study was undertaken for Cheshire West and Chester Council with the purpose of collecting evidence to enhance understanding of the factors impacting the demand for and supply of visitor accommodation in the Borough.

The study is an evidence-based assessment of the opportunities and requirements for the future growth and sustainability of hotel and other types of visitor accommodation, with a focus on the internationally established visitor destination of Chester and the main towns of Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford.
