We can allow traffic management or road closures and require 28 days lead-in, with some flexibility on occasion, dependant on various factors.
Section 171 Licence
To request traffic management either stop/go or full road closure, please complete a Section 171 licence application. You need this licence to book space on the highway for minor traffic management.
The Licence is issued in accordance with the Highways Act 1980 (Section 171), Road Traffic Act 1984 (Section 65) and Environmental Protection Act 1980 (Section 34).

£110 for applications per activity on each street for up to 21 calendar days (15 working days)
