Drainage and flooding
How to report a flood
Emergency action
If there is a risk to life and you require evacuation, please dial 999. Please ensure to turn off the gas, water and electricity to avoid further danger, if it's safe to do so.
For other flooding emergencies, you should call us on 0300 123 7036 to report any issues that present an immediate danger or could impact on a residential property or business.
In the event of serious flooding, we work closely with the emergency services. We help where we can, in particular where people are vulnerable. We have a network of local people and organisations we can call on to help when there's a flood.
Emergency sewage leaks
A sewage leak is an environmental and health hazard. Please call the relevant utility company, so that their specialist team can immediately deal with this issue.
