Family and child benefits
Child Benefit
If you're eligible to claim Child Benefit, you can complete an online claim form. You'll qualify for child benefit if you're responsible for raising a child under the age of 16 or a child under 20 years old who is in approved education or training.
Child Tax Credit
If you already receive Working Tax Credit, you may also be able to claim for Child Tax Credit. Child Tax Credit claims are for children you're responsible for.
