COVID-19 response

In 2021/22, we have:

Provided a range of support for schools, businesses and communities to limit the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 across Cheshire West and Chester
Delivered 322 new jobs through business growth programmes funded by a Covid grant
Continued to support the local vaccination rollout, increasing the percentage of the population aged 12 and over receiving one or more dose to 87%
Supported 1,488 local businesses with advice, guidance and assistance through our business team
