Business rates

Property and business rates rate relief data relating to the Cheshire West and Chester district.

Data includes the date that the business currently registered at the address was responsible for business rates.

We do not include whether a property is empty or not in the data as we believe that the information should be excluded under section 31 of the Freedom of Information Act (disclosure would be likely to prejudice the prevention or detection of crime).

We have only included the liable name for companies and not individuals in accordance with section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act.

We do not provide information relating to the billing address in respect of business rates. We believe that the information relating to the company can be found by other means such as Companies House or by internet searches.
