Business Land and Premises Survey

Closing Date: 9 August 2024

Why we are doing a business survey?

The Council are undertaking an Economic Needs Assessment to understand future employment needs in the borough. The Study will be used to support the preparation of the Council’s next local plan, and other local strategies for economic development and regeneration.

We are engaging with local businesses to understand their future growth and investment needs, including demand for land or premises. We are interested in hearing from businesses across all sectors and sizes who rent or own business premises in the borough.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UK-SPF).

How to share your views

If you own or lease business premises or land in the borough we would like to hear from you. The Survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The survey also provides an opportunity for you to register your interest in business support/advice.

Paper copies or alternative formats of the survey are available on request using the contact details below:

The consultation will close on 9 August 2024.

How your views will be used

All individual business responses will be treated as fully confidential and non-identifiable. There is an opportunity for you to provide contact details at the end of the survey. You will not be contacted about your answers unless you opt in to be contacted and provide your details.

Information will be held securely by CWaC and their contracted consultants (Iceni Projects) and will provide supporting evidence for a borough wide Economic Needs Assessment. The overall findings will be incorporated into the final Economic Needs Assessment report which will be published as part of the evidence base for the Council’s Local Plan. For further information on the Council’s Local Plan, visit the Planning Policy pages of the Council’s website.

Consultation feedback on the survey may also be published on the Council’s website and shared with partner organisations.
