Home library service
The Home Library Service is a service that provides library material directly to the homes of readers who are unable to collect their own items from a library. This can be due to mobility issues or simply because the items are too heavy to carry.
Volunteers deliver books or talking books on a regular basis, free of charge. The service is also looking for new volunteers and there are a number of ways that people can help - from visiting or driving, to book selection.
Do you know anyone who could make use of this service? Or do you have a few hours spare to volunteer? For further information, please contact your local library.
