Please note: applications should be submitted by Thursday 13 March. With events not requiring a road closure, applications should be submitted by Thursday 3 April.

| Thursday 13 March 2025 |
All applications for events (including street parties for the VE Day 80 Weekend must be submitted by this date. This must include all event documents and proof of insurance, where applicable. This is to allow consideration by the Safety Advisory Group of the event taking place. |
| Friday 14 March 2025 | Request for permission to display bunting on Council land. |
| Monday 17 March 2025 | By this date, we will confirm to event organisers not requiring a road closure if their event has met the requirements. |
| Thursday 3 April 2025 | Applications for events not requiring a road closure but requesting public space. |
| Thursday 17 April 2025 | By this date, we will confirm to event organisers requiring a road closure if their event has met the requirements. |
| Thursday 24 April 2025 | For road closures, Advance Warning Signs will need to be in place from this date. All signs must be removed in the evening at the end of the event. |
| Monday 28 April 2025 | Approved bunting can be deployed from this date. |
