Sandy Lane Park and Aqua Park
Sandy Lane Park is situated upon the banks of the River Dee, approximately 2.5 miles east of Chester city centre and includes Sandy Lane Aqua Park and the adjacent play area which looks across the River Dee to the Meadows. The park has beautiful views of the local area, which provides a stimulating play environment and the Aqua Park/Water Park includes a 10 feature spray facility close to a grassed picnic area.
Opening times
The Aqua Park and toilets are only open during the summer season (May - September), between 11am - 5pm.
Please note that there may be a possibility that the Aqua Park may need to close for an hour to undertake maintenance, this is likely to be sometime between 1pm - 3pm.
The adjacent play area remains open during the winter months.

Parking and access
There is vehicular access off Sandy Lane into a surfaced car park for about 40 cars. Pedestrian access is good from all sides of the park.

Sandy Lane Park is situated just across the river from the Meadows and is approximately two miles from Grosvenor Park and Chester City Centre.
Sandy Lane Ferry
The popular Sandy Lane Ferry service will be in operation again this summer, every weekend from the weekend of 25 May until the last Sunday in September.
The service takes passengers across the River Dee from Sandy Lane to the Meadows and back, between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
