Would your business like to support the residents of west Cheshire to get online? Several local businesses are supporters of the programme.

Donate devices and Laptop for Kidz

We are working with private and public sector organisations to supply refurbished laptops to children.

If you would like to support this initiative and donate your old equipment (donated laptops must be no more than five years old). You can contact connectedcommunities@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.

Staff volunteers

If your organisation employs digitally skilled staff, supporting the initiative may be a rewarding exercise and will help boost their technical communication skills.

The following organisations are seeking new volunteers:

• Age UK Cheshire - Connect All: Helping older people get online, offering one-hour remote tutoring sessions per week on iPads. Email: digitalproject@ageukcheshire.org.uk
• Cheshire West and Chester libraries: Provide help and support for library customers in using computers, tablets and devices. Promote and support customers to use the library’s online services e.g. e-books, e-resources. Assist and/or lead digital learning events and groups
