Missing adults
First contact the police and file a missing persons report:
- Online:Report a missing person
- Telephone: 101, or in an emergency call 999.
- Missing People(national charity)
- Telephone: 116 000 (UK Freephone 24 hour helpline)
Domestic Abuse
If you or anyone you know is in immediate danger telephone the police on 999. If it's not safe to speak dial 55 during the call to let the operator know you are in danger.

Hate Crime
Hate crimes, or hate incidents, are when people or communities are targeted because of race (including colour, ethnic origin, nationality or national origins), religion or belief, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
