Changes to admission numbers for 2021
Section 2 of the school admissions information booklets provide detailed information on the individual schools in Cheshire West and Chester. This section highlights the number of applications received and places allocated for the previous year, including the lowest criteria and furthest distance allocated. This may assist you in assessing your chances of obtaining a place at your preferred school.
The determined published admission numbers for each school are listed in these booklets. However, The School Admissions Code, December 2014, allows Admission Authorities to admit above PAN (published admission numbers) where it will not adversely affect the school now or in the future.
Some schools may also consider to initially allocate above their admission number based on historical trends relating to the number of declines usually received following National Offer Day. In this circumstance the school will not be re-allocating any places until they have fallen below the agreed admission number.
The following schools/academies will be admitting above their PAN for the September 2021 intake. Please note these are temporary increases for this year group only and does not affect the schools’ permanent PAN.
School/Academy | PAN | Number of pupils in September 2021 intake |
