Our experienced Skills and Employment team members can help you to access free and impartial Information Advice and Guidance to
- support you into employment by helping you to apply for jobs, write CVs and cover letters, and prepare for interviews
- enable you to identify relevant training/learning opportunities such as in English, maths and IT, or sector specific courses such as childcare, forklift truck operation, beauty, customer service and more
- assist you in overcoming any barriers you may have accessing learning and work opportunities (for example, childcare, travel, and finance), including signposting you to organisations that may specialise in the specific support you require

The National Careers Service website provides hints and tips on CV writing and job applications, job descriptions and course searches. You can also speak directly to a careers advisor online or by telephone, or arrange a one to one appointment at a location near to you.
