The West Cheshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP) run the following multi-agency training programmes for practitioners. Please note there may be a charge for some individuals/agencies.

Enables staff to respond appropriately to DVA and increase the safety of survivors and the accountability of perpetrators through a co-ordinated community response.

Training and professional who have attended the course above approximately three years ago. The course updates your DVA practice, provision and procedures information.

  • Safeguarding children from domestic abuse (full day)

Increases confidence and competence in safeguarding children and young people affected by DVA through a family approach to safety and recovery.

  • Sexual abuse and harmful sexual behaviour in children and young people (full day)

Equips professionals to recognise the signs of sexual abuse in children and how to respond when there are concerns a child has been sexually abused.
