Overview
It is quick and simple to pay online for many of the services that we offer. You can pay using our secure 24 hour online payment service with most credit and debit cards.
You can pay some of our general online payments and invoices. To pay an invoice you will need the invoice account number and reference details shown on your invoice.
What you will need to make payments
For Council Tax, Benefits overpayments, Business rates and BID levy payments you will need:
- your account number
- the amount you wish to pay
You can check your account number and balance online.
Housing
For housing rents payments you will be need:
- your Housing Rent Account Reference Number (8 or 9 digits long starting with a '1, 2 or 3')
Adult Social Care
For Adult Social Care invoice payments you will need:
- your invoice number
- the amount you wish to pay
Other payments
You can pay for one of the following pre-booked ceremonies: marriages, civil partnerships, naming ceremonies and renewal of vows.
To use this service you must have already booked your ceremony with the Ceremonies Officer at Chester Register Office.
To make a payment you will need to quote the penalty charge notice (PCN) number shown on your parking or bus lane ticket. Please allow at least 24 hours after the time the notice was issued to pay online.
You can appeal a parking or bus lane ticket.
To make a payment you will need your student reference number and personal details. Payments can only be made if you have received a payment request from the Transport Commissioning Service. (TCS). A change of address or school/college must be reported to TCS before payment is made.
