Tributes pour in from across the Council in honour of HRH Queen Elizabeth II

Tributes have been paid by leaders of political groups across Cheshire West and Chester Council to commemorate the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Throughout the country, commonwealth, and world, people are sharing their condolences in recognition of a monarch who ruled for 70 years with compassion, loyalty and an immense sense of duty.
Flags throughout the borough are currently flying at half mast, buildings are lit up purple and condolence books and flower carpets are in place at major Council buildings and at Chester Town Hall, Chester Cathedral, Ellesmere Port Library and Northwich Memorial Court.
