The Lord Mayor of Chester is asking residents to take part in the exhibition by sharing photographs of the Queen.

To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee over the extended Bank Holiday weekend (1 to 5 June 2022), the Lord Mayor of Chester is hosting an exhibition in the Town Hall highlighting the reign of Her Majesty and her connections with the City.

The Lord Mayor is asking for residents to take part in the exhibition by sharing photographs of the Queen, her visit to the City, their street parties marking significant anniversaries during her reign or any memorabilia they may have.

The exhibition will be held in the Town Hall, Northgate Street, Chester from 1 to 5 June 2022. The exhibition is expected to be both physical and digital.

The Lord Mayor of Chester Councillor Martyn Delaney said:

Plans are underway to mark this special anniversary and we are keen to make the exhibition a local and community event, but I need the help of residents.

If anyone has photographs or memorabilia that they are happy to loan, then please get in touch.
