We’re delighted to have moved into the ground floor of the leisure centre, alongside colleagues at Brio, and to be able to continue to offer this service to local residents in more pleasant and welcoming surroundings. Being able to speak to Council staff face to face is a lifeline for some people, particularly those who are unable to access online services or unsure of how to complete certain forms or report issues. We’re also hoping that visitors to Brio Leisure will take advantage of the support that’s on offer.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be installing a public PC and telephone enabling visitors to access services for themselves with the support of the team. Please bear with us whilst we complete the installation and resume the all-round service that we have previously provided.

The move out of Northwich Information Centre is part of the preparations for the regeneration of Weaver Square. The proposal for Weaver Square is to replace empty shops and buildings, and deliver modern and affordable sustainable town centre living, as part of a mixed-use development with public spaces and supporting infrastructure. It is hoped that the new community will support existing businesses, help to attract new investment, and give a welcome boost to the town centre and the evening economy. As part of these plans, Northwich Market will be moving to the currently vacant corner units opposite H&M at Barons Quay.
