Northwich-born TV broadcaster Mary-Ann Ochota presents free family show at the Lion Salt Works

Join Northwich-born TV broadcaster Mary-Ann Ochota and storyteller, Jason Buck at the Lion Salt Works on Saturday 22 June at 11am for a free family orientated history-based show Rings, Wings and Spindle Whorls.

Mary-Anne and Jason tell stories inspired by historical artefacts from the Iron Age to World War 2 and the show is suitable for children aged eight years plus.

Mary-Ann Ochota is a former student of Sir John Deane’s College, she gained her MA from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. TV programmes that Mary-Ann has appeared on include Britain’s Secret Treasures, Time Team, and Unreported World

Jason Buck is one of the UK’s leading storytellers with a global online audience. He has written and published seven illustrated collections of stories and won numerous prizes for his storytelling.
