Council prosecutes Ellesmere Port man linked to fly-tipped waste in Oldfield Road

An Ellesmere Port man has been ordered to pay a total of £860 after being prosecuted by Cheshire West and Chester Council for a fly-tipping offence.
Agab Nazzal (36), of Enfield Road, Ellesmere Port, was fined £400, ordered to pay costs of £300 and victims surcharge of £160 (£860 in total). This is to be paid in full in three months (two months of £300 and one month of £260).
The waste was found in Oldfield Road, Ellesmere Port in August 2023.
The Council’s Public Protection team investigated the waste, which was linked to Mr Nazzal’s address.
Mr Nazzal originally contacted the case officer to state he had been on holiday when a Fixed Penalty Notice was issued and he was given an extension to pay the lower amount (£250), however, the FPN issued to him remained unpaid, so the Council commenced a prosecution.

Please help us tackle this problem and report inconsiderate fly-tippers, who still think they can dispose of rubbish wherever they want causing problems for residents and draining Council services.
