I love being alone with my laptop writing but even for someone used to a very solo profession, the last couple of years in the pandemic have been extreme!

So, it’s an absolute joy to be out and about doing author events like this one again and meeting and chatting to readers. Libraries have a special place in my heart too - as for many people, they are where the world of fiction really opened up to me as a teenager.
