State Funeral

The Queen’s State Funeral will be broadcast on TV screens in Chester Cathedral. To monitor anticipated attendance, the Cathedral is requesting those wishing to join pre-register by booking a ticket to enter the Cathedral.

The Cathedral will be open as normal on Monday 19 September from 9.30am - 6pm, though both the Gift Shop and Refectory Café will close for the funeral.

The event will also be screened at Storyhouse, Chester, open from 9am to 7pm to be a place of comfort for those who may not want to be alone.
