National Moment of Reflection
At 8pm on Sunday 18 September, the night before the State Funeral, there will be a one-minute silence where the public are invited to come together and observe a national moment of reflection to mourn and reflect on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.
In Chester, this will be marked by a multi-faith event in the Town Hall Square. Candles will be lit, and the national anthem will be sung. This event is open to the public.
Northwich Town Council will hold a vigil from 7.45pm at Memorial Court, with a moment's silence at 8pm. This event is open to the public.
