Below is a list of unauthorised encampments in the Cheshire and Warrington area. These are shown by Council area.

Each unauthorised encampment is given a name based on where it was first reported. The exact location of the encampment may be somewhere nearby. Similarly, there may be a slightly different number of caravans reported when the group first arrive. There is a procedure for dealing with encampments and the information is updated as this progresses. If you have checked the list below and want to tell us about a new encampment, please use our reporting form.

Cheshire West and Chester

Morrisons, Mill lane, Chester

• Current Status: Initial assessments are being carried out.

Warrington

Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub

• Arrived: 20 August 2026
• Current Status: Court summons have been served, for the court hearing to take place on Thursday the 27th of August, to obtain a court order to move the group on.
