Temporary events notice
If you wish to hold a small scale event which permits the sale of alcohol, regulated entertainment you will need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN).
A premises, including defined areas and temporary structures can apply for a maximum of 15 Temporary Event Notices covering no more than 21 days per year. A TEN can take place for no longer than 168 hours in total, no more than 499 people will attend and there must be at least 24 hours between events in the same premises.
A personal licence holder can apply for a maximum of 50 TENs per year. A maximum of 10 of these may be submitted as a late TEN. A non personal licence holder can apply for a maximum of five TENs per year. A maximum of two of these may be submitted as a late TEN.
