Health and safety complaints

We receive and investigate a range of Health and Safety related service requests every year. If the report relates to a high risk premises or is indicative of a significant safety concern this will be investigated. If the report is considered low risk the details will be logged and used for intelligence purposes.

Common queries relate to:

• smoking in public places
• temperature control in the workplace
• work based welfare and cleanliness
