Non-domestic rates (often called business rates) is a national tax collected locally by us which is payable by the occupier or owner of business property.
Check and pay your business rates balance
You can access your business rates account online using our eCitizen self service facility. You only need to register once to be able to manage any of your accounts including your Council Tax.

Other ways to pay
Direct Debit
Direct Debits are collected on the first of the month. You can set up a Direct Debit over the telephone or online.
At the Post Office
When your bill arrives, you will notice a barcode, you should take this bill with you to the Post Office. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit card. There is no additional transaction fee for this service.
At a retail outlet using PayPoint
When your bill arrives, you will notice a barcode, you should take this bill with you to the PayPoint outlet. You can pay your business rates at your local retail store that displays a PayPoint sign. Payment can be made by cash only at these locations.
Standing order or BACS payment
You can set up a standing order via your bank using the sort code 30-91-92 and account number 02895329. You will need to quote your non-domestic rates account reference. Please allow up to four working days for your payment to be received.
