Scottish Power works to connect power to new Women and Children’s facility at Countess of Chester Hospital

Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) has been granted access to work on the road network to carry out essential works to connect power to the new Women and Children’s facility at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Due to the importance of these works our Highways Service waived the usual three-month advance notification period for such a major scheme. We have worked very closely with Scottish Power to find a suitable period to minimise disruption during the busy summer months.

The following locations will be affected:

• Brook Lane – Traffic signals – 27/05/24 – 07/06/24
• Liverpool Road towards hospital – Lane closure – 27/05/24 – 06/06/24
• Liverpool Road – One way road closure – 17/06/24 – 29/06/24
• Morrisons Roundabout Crossing – Lane closure/Deva Link road closure – 30/05/24 -31/05/24, and 18/06/24 - 19/06/24 (Night Works)
• Grange Road/Eversley Park – Road closure – 29/06/24 – 01/08/24
• Eversley Road into Liverpool Road – 16/06/24 (Night Works)
